Black Water Tank RV

ALL Rv's and Campers have three tanks: Fresh Water, Gray Water, and Black Water.

The Black water tank is most often than not the smallest of the tanks. Sometimes it is on par with the Gray Water tank, in terms of capacity, but not always.

The Black Water Tank is collects both solids and liquid waste. This waste is collected from the toilet(s) in your camper. This is the only tank that will and should be collecting toilet waste.

The waste therefore will be human waste as well as the water to flush and whatever toiletries are needed when using a toilet.

RV Black water tanks should only be used with special toilet paper and needs to be maintained properly for sanitary reasons at least.

Black water tanks tend to collect less waste than the gray water tanks but not always.
